February Novice Salsa Classes

In the Novice Salsa series, Tianne and Jack teach one elemental salsa pattern over the course of the month. This class is designed specifically for people moving up from beginners classes, and for intermediate level dancers who want to get extra practice and warmup.

Every class, we start with footwork, bodywork and/or individual dance moves so you can get really comfortable with basic steps. At a half-hour into class, we continue onto partnered dancing. Each week of the month, we introduce lead and follow variations.

PREQUISITE: Students in this class should be be familiar with the quick-quick-slow rhythm, the basic step, the side basic, the back basic, right turns, and the cross-body lead.

As always, no partner necessary.
